Biographical Note
Jerry Spagnoli studied photography at the San Francisco Art Institute where he received a BFA and completed his MFA at Mills College in Oakland, California. His work is in a number of permanent collections throughout the United States, including the Museum of Modern Art, New York and the J. Paul Getty Museum, Santa Monica, California.

The collection contains four daguerreotypes executed 1998-2000 by daguerreotypist Jerry Spagnoli. Images include: [Grand Central Station Rededication Ceremony], October 1, 1998, 9 x 22 in. (cased triptych); [Aerial view from 52 West 26th Street with World Trade Center], 1999 (including cased photograph and plate), 4.25 x 3.25 in. (two items); [Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade], 2000, 6.5 x 8 in. (framed).
