Photographs have been arranged by subject into photographs of shows Sydow was involved in and photographs of travel and military life during his enlistment. Within the subject areas, photographs are arranged primarily by size. The numbers on the backs of each photograph correspond to an inventory created by Dr. J. Riley Caldwell-O'Keefe and are not indicative of original order.
